Painting Basics: Blue

This four hour exercise hopes to have the artist capture different versions of reflectivity. Glass may show more than metal, and plastic may distort the image all together. While recreating these objects, one must also recreate the scenes made inside those objects to make the material seem believable. The ball was the most difficult being that it is the smallest yet most reflective so it required the most detail. However, since it required greater attention, it was rewarding to finish and the most interesting to look at to some.
