While participating in Inktober, this drawing was made to fit the theme of "Misfit." Reflecting on the definition of the term misfit, I interpret it as a person or thing that is unique in comparison to the regularity of an established norm. It is typically used as an adjective to describe someones attitude or behavior, one that is not necessarily negative, but rather unconventional. In perspective, anyone that is "rough around the edges" can be seen as a misfit. To express this non-visual description, the edges of the character are jagged and intentionally not clean.
